Transport Innovation Forum

The largest event in the Baltic region for the transport and logistics sector community

This year’s Transport Innovation Forum will take place on 23-24 November at Litexpo, Vilnius.

Mission of the event – to bring together international, governmental and non-governmental organizations, scientific institutions, business representatives and start-ups to promote the development of innovations in the transport and logistics sector in the region, to become a platform for generating ideas and exchanging them internationally.

During the events, presentations were read by high-level EU and global officials such as Adina Vălean, European Commission Commissioner for Transport and Mobility and Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commission Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, Álvaro Santos Pereira, OECD Chief Economist, Stephen D Gardner, Chief Counsel for the Commercial Law Development Program (U.S.) and Keisuke Sadamori, Director of Energy Markets and Security at International Energy Agency (IEA).

Representatives of world-class international business – Scania Group, MSC, DKV Mobility, Girteka, Shift2Rail, EInride, Q-Free, Shell, TomTom, Google Cloud.

Success stories were shared by representatives of the unicorn Sennder and other well-known start-ups in the field of transport and logistics, such as Dorae, Atlas Aero, Tracks, CityBee, VokBikes, Clevon, Eleport Lithuania, CargoSign, Trevio, GreenMile, Kernolab.

In 2021, Transport Innovation Forum, in order to promote innovation and investment in local transport and logistics start-ups, a pitch session was held, and the companies that contributed the most to the development of sustainable solutions were awarded with „Towards Green Transport“ awards, initiated by Lithuanian Railways. In 2022, for the second year in a row, the International start-ups pitch session was organized. During the Forum, the winners of the „Green Mobility Awards“ organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and Lithuanian Railways were announced.

On 20-21st of October in 2022, more than 70 speakers and participants of discussions from various countries (Lithuania, France, US, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, Belgium, Finland, UK) read presentations and participated in discussions at the event held at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO. In 2022, Transport Innovation Forum reached a record number of participants. The event was attended live by more than 700 participants – experts of the transport and logistics sector – and the online broadcast on DELFI and our platform received almost 120 000 views.

In 2021, more than 70 speakers from 17 different countries shared their experiences at the Transport Innovation Forum, nearly 300 representatives of the transport and logistics sector participated live in the event, more than 127 000 people viewed the broadcast on DELFI portal and our platform.
